A  “Pozolada” was hosted by Lara Elementary Academy January 27th. The event featured the parents who prepared Posale to be judged by all who participated in the raffle and tickets. Principal Paul Schissler said, “It was not so much a fundraiser as it was an opportunity to invite people together for an experience of community.” In all, 16 posole dishes were prepared by parents, including a vegetarian posole! It was difficult to pick a winner because they were all delicious.
