The Back of the Yards College support group meets 3-4 times a year - to check in with each other on our how our dreams for a higher education are supported, and generally just to get to know one another who are serving the Back of the Yards neighborhood, in one way or another.
If you have not signed up yet to receive updated information on the scholarship meetings and college support group please send a request to scholarships@peaceandeducation.org to sign up! You will be sent an invitation to attend a support group gathering of students throughout the year.

On our 29th Annual Scholarship fundraiser, we will honor a previous scholarship recipient Mayra Macias.
Please consider a donation to the Peace and Education Coalition (PEC). The annual fundraiser for Scholarships will be held on May 2nd, 2026. Donations are accepted at any time. Your donation helps support scholarships for young people with a dream for a higher education and who have provided service to our community.
